How the Evaluation Works
Your piece is assessed by our in-house gemologist, with an evaluation typically completed within 48 hours. Once certified, we make you an offer based on current gold prices. You're not guessing at value from an old chart, it's assessed fresh, in person, by someone qualified to do it properly.
Cash or Store Credit
You can take your offer as a cash payment by cheque, or choose store credit and receive extra value on top, put toward anything in our full jewellery collection. What About Diamonds and Other Stones
The Gold Buyback Program doesn't cover center diamonds above 0.50 ct. If your piece has a diamond that size or larger, we'll offer to buy the gold on its own, based on our gemologist's valuation, and the diamond itself can go through our Diamond Plus Program instead, which is built specifically for upgrading or trading in a diamond you already own.
Repair or Redesign Instead of Selling
Selling isn't the only option, and it's worth thinking through before you decide.
