Lanka Jewels will replace your lost original side diamond in a ring, earring or pendant free of charge on any one occasion, once during the life of your jewelry, if:

• If due to a manufacturer's defect any of your original side diamonds in a ring / pendant / earrings is lost from its original mounting, and is in the opinion of the staff of Lanka Jewels in good condition
• And you have brought your jewelry in for semi-annual Inspection to the store.
• You present the original invoice.

This Lifetime Warranty does not cover theft, mysterious disappearance, loss or damage caused by everyday wear or act of God. We recommend that you insure your jewelry against unforeseen circumstances and consider blanket jewelry coverage on your homeowner’s policy. 

To maintain the validity of our Lifetime Warranty, you must get Lanka Jewels to do a semi-annual six (6) month inspection at which time we will professionally clean your jewelry piece and check settings, free of charge. All repairs recommended as a result of these inspections must be completed by Lanka Jewels to maintain this benefit.

Lanka Jewels warrants your jewelry against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for one year from your date of purchase. If any defects are found during this period, Lanka Jewels will provide all necessary repairs free of charge. The following are not considered a defect and are as such excluded from free repairs: 

• Rhodium plating
• Soldering
• Chain soldering
• Special finish requests
• Re-casting
• Any loss of brilliance
• In the case of earrings, earring back replacements due to loss. 

The Warranty does not cover your Lanka Jewels items where the defect:

• Is caused by normal wear and tear or is otherwise due to normal aging arising from use.
• Is attributable to repair, service, or alteration performed by anyone other than Lanka Jewels.
• Is attributable to abuse, accident, misuse, mishandling, and contact with chemicals, fire, or is attributable in whole or in part to use of the jewelry outside of the intended uses prescribed by Lanka Jewels.
• Relates to rhodium plating of white gold jewelry.
