What Is the Gold Buyback Program?

LJC offers to buy gold jewelry from customers at pre‐determined values. This program gives you the opportunity to then purchase new jewelry from Lanka Jewels.

1. Customer may bring her gold jewelry along with the original invoice for the item. The item must be in good condition without damages, scratches and unbroken.along with the original invoice. The item must be in good condition—no significant scratches, dents, or missing parts.

    2.  LJC will evaluate the jewelry through its in-house gemologist within 48 hours, and if certified by our expert, it will offer to buy the jewelry


Three Options

Option 1: Get Paid

We’ll make you a cash offer, paid via cheque, based on current gold prices set by Lanka Jewels.

Option 2: Get More with Store Credit

Instead of cash, choose store credit and receive an extra 20% on the value of your gold. A great way to get more value for your trade-in!

Option 3: Double Your Value

Are you ready for something truly special? We’re offering an additional 50% of your gold value if you match that amount and use it towards an in-store purchase. By combining our 150% credit with your 150% contribution, you’re maximizing the return on your gold!

Conditions of the Program

  • No additional discount will be applicable on the jewelry the customer buys from LJC.
  • LJC reserves the right to change the terms of the program at its sole discretion.
  • This program does not cover center diamonds above 0.50 ct; LJC has a separate Diamond Plus program where one can upgrade their diamonds with LJC.
  • In case the jewelry item has center diamonds above 0.5 ct, LJC will offer to buy the jewelry without the diamond based on the valuation provided by its in‐house gemologist.
